Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior IBM i Programmer Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for production follow-up, analysis, and resolution of production incidents, as well as participating in the development of improvements and projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Evolve and maintain existing systems
  • Plan and execute project activities
  • Produce development project artifacts
  • Evaluate analysis and development efforts
  • Write and update functional and technical specifications
  • Develop and implement enhancements and projects
  • Provide effective user support
  • Support and advise less experienced developers
  • Apply best practices in software development
  • Be available for remote support outside of normal working hours

Requirements
  • DEC or Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer systems, information, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on programming experience on IBM iSeries, AS400, RPG IV, RPGLE, RPG/II, CLP, SQL, Database: DB2 for i
  • Experience with XML, HTML, and JavaScript is beneficial
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Leadership and negotiation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all hierarchical levels
  • Ability to make complex information accessible
  • Responsible and autonomous in carrying out mandates
  • Ability to work in both French and English (spoken and written)
