Senior Bodily Injury Claims Examiner

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bodily Injury Examiner to join our team at OTIP RAEO. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for investigating, quantifying, and settling complex property and casualty claims in excess of $250,000.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and analyze complex claims to determine liability and quantum
- Develop and implement effective claims strategies to achieve optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, brokers, and claims adjusters, to ensure seamless claim handling
- Communicate with insured members, vendors, and other external parties to resolve claims efficiently
- Manage competing priorities, including project management skills, to ensure timely and effective claim resolution
- Post-secondary education and/or college diploma in a related field
- CIP designation and ability to hold an adjuster's license
- 7-10 years of experience in casualty claims handling, including litigation file management
- Strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance, including medical rehabilitation concepts and case law
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Superior organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
