About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineering Technician to join our team at 2535830 Ontario Inc. As an Industrial Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in optimizing our manufacturing processes and ensuring the highest level of quality in our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Production Programs: Design, develop, and implement production programs to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Design Plant Layouts and Facilities: Design and develop plant layouts and production facilities to meet the needs of our manufacturing operations.
  • Conduct Work Measurement and Studies: Conduct work measurement and other studies to identify areas for improvement and optimize production processes.
  • Develop Health, Safety, and Fire Prevention Plans: Develop and implement health, safety, and fire prevention plans to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct Safety Training Programs: Develop and conduct safety training programs to ensure employees are aware of and follow safety protocols.
  • Develop Computer Applications: Develop computer applications to improve manufacturing processes and increase efficiency.
  • Collect and Analyze Data: Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in manufacturing processes.
  • Develop Manufacturing Procedures: Develop and implement manufacturing procedures to ensure consistency and quality in our products.
  • Assist in Preparing Estimates and Reports: Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports to support manufacturing operations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in Mastercam CAD/CAM, Web service design, mapping and data visualization software, database software, computer-aided design (CAD), AutoCAD, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and have attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, initiative, organized, team player, and values and ethics.
