Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory and Imaging Specialist to join our team at Wabasca/Desmarais Healthcare. As a key member of our inter-professional team, you will be responsible for performing procedures in both the laboratory and diagnostic imaging departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze biological specimens
  • Conduct X-ray examinations and ECGs
  • Report results and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare patients for procedures and maintain equipment
  • Perform quality control procedures and maintain supplies
Requirements:
  • Completion of diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT)
  • Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists (ACCLXT)
  • Experience with Epic, Caresphere, Wellsky, Radiant, Mobile Radiography – GE Portable, Carestream DXR Ascend X-ray unit, Kodak Direct View CR 850. Agfa PACS Laboratory. Laboratory: ACL Elite Pro, Sysmex 1000i, Vitros XT3400, Clinitek Status, I-Stat, Triage MeterPro
Working Conditions:

This is a regular part-time position with a 0.40 FTE. The successful candidate will work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and on-call. The minimum salary is $35.45 and the maximum salary is $46.69.
