About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying software systems that enable fast and efficient delivery of packages to customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software systems that support our delivery features, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain software systems using various technologies, including Swift and Objective-C.
  • Contribute to the technical direction of the team, influencing the development of new technologies and architectures.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • 2+ years of Apple platform development experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
