We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on national averages and taking into account the fast-paced environment and physically demanding nature of the job.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food preparation staff, including training them in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and estimating ingredient and supply requirements.

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Hire and train food service staff, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong understanding of culinary genres and kitchen operations.

  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-food establishment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset.
