We are seeking an accomplished Academic Leader in Digital Education to join our faculty at the University of Toronto. This tenure-stream position involves teaching graduate courses in Online Teaching and Learning, as well as contributing to the department's Master of Education program.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position with a competitive salary range estimated at $90,000 - $120,000 per year. The successful candidate will be committed to fostering an inclusive environment that values diversity and promotes academic excellence.
Responsibilities- Teach graduate courses in Online Teaching and Learning
- Contribute to the department's Master of Education program
The ideal candidate must have earned a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in Education or a related field by the time of appointment. A demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching is essential, as is experience with research or teaching in K-12 school settings.
Preferred Qualifications- A strong portfolio in areas such as AI in education, educational uses of augmented and/or virtual reality, new media literacies, digital game-based learning, social media, and teaching and learning with digital technology
- Experience working in diverse contexts and with diverse student populations
