Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and diligent kitchen assistant to join our team at The Curry Pot. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dishroom and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Load and unload dishwashers, and operate other cleaning equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including storage areas and supply closets.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Participate in daily cleaning schedules, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Benefits:
