Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of HR professionals and support their growth and development through career discussions and one-on-one conversations.
  • Drive people strategies for the Brewery to support the maturity progression of our World Class Supply Chain (WCSC) initiative.
  • Develop and implement integrated HR strategies to support transformation projects, including retention, recruitment, organizational structure, labor relations, and change management.
  • Promote positive labor and employee relations and engagement by developing strategies to ensure ongoing effective labor and employee relations and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Act as a strategic partner by working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop organizational capability, utilize insights, and provide thought leadership.
  • Lead and ensure full use of integrated people management processes to grow talent, drive performance, and improve employee engagement.
Requirements
  • University degree in business, human resources, or related area or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience as an HR generalist, ideally from a tier-one organization within consumer-packaged goods or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of employment standards legislation and progressive HR policies and practices.
  • Practical experience in a unionized environment, including collective bargaining.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization where you lead cross-functional teams to a common goal without direct reporting authority.
  • Ability to influence change by taking an analytical and practical approach.
  • Self-motivated and proactive individual with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Accountability for results, acting with integrity and honoring commitments.
  • Thirst for learning and a desire to help others grow.
