Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Spectrum Health Care. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents in a nursing home setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or well-being
  • Participate in recreational activities and social events to promote resident engagement and enjoyment
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing home
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate and First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
