Job Description

Airenergy HVAC Inc. is seeking a skilled Heating Systems Installation Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This permanent position involves installing, overhauling, and maintaining heating systems for residential and commercial clients. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of gas codes and experience with refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and overhaul heating systems, including refrigeration and air conditioning units;
  • Troubleshoot heating system issues and perform repairs as needed;
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components;
  • Coach and instruct apprentices on installation techniques and best practices;
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment;
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure electrical and plumbing installations meet government regulations.
Requirements
  • Degree in a related field (e.g., mechanical engineering) or equivalent work experience;
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification;
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working at heights training and Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate;
  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Red Seal Certificate and Occupational Health and Safety Certificate;
  • First Aid Certificate and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
