Salary

About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Systems Installation Specialist to install, program, configure, commission, and service fire alarm and fire suppression systems. Your expertise will ensure that our customers' facilities meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, program, configure, commission, and service fire alarm and fire suppression systems from leading manufacturers such as Simplex, Fike, Kidde, Inergen, Sapphire, FM-200, and CO2.
  • Execute projects on time and within allocated installation hours, working closely with project managers to resolve any discrepancies or coordination issues.
  • Read and interpret complex blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software, systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
  • Instruct and train customers on the functional operation of equipment/systems, conducting simulations and answering questions.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills, consistently communicating with district staff and customers to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a college diploma in Fire Protection, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
  • Possess strong communication and report/document writing skills.
  • Able to obtain and retain required licenses and certifications.
  • Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Able to work in unusual positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high-lift equipment up to 40 feet.
