The University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time tenure stream position in the area of Indigenous Health and Ecology. This is an exciting opportunity to join our faculty and contribute to our commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly qualified individual with expertise in Indigenous Health and Ecology. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching large and small undergraduate courses in Indigenous Studies, including the department's science credit course. They will also have the opportunity to develop and implement a graduate program.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in Indigenous Studies
- Develop and implement a graduate program
- Conduct research in Indigenous Health and Ecology
- Engage with Indigenous communities and organizations
Requirements
- Ph.D. in a relevant field
- Research excellence in Indigenous Health and Ecology
- Teaching experience in a degree-granting program
- Experience working with Indigenous communities and organizations
