We are seeking a Structural Systems Engineer to join our team at Arup. In this role, you will be responsible for designing structural systems and performing structural analysis within a team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver structural engineering drawings, calculations, reports, sketches, and presentations
- Collaborate with internal and external parties
- Preference for candidates with a completed master's degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent
- Coursework in structural analysis, advanced steel design, advanced reinforced concrete design, and/or advanced timber design
- Ability to communicate technical ideas in an accessible way
- Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec
Requirements:
- Structural software skills, Revit skills, 3D modeling skills, and coding skills
- Past internship/co-op experience with a design firm or extracurricular activities in the field
- History of technical presentations and technical writing
- Evidence of personal investment in academic, volunteer, or extracurricular field
