Overview

Groupe SII is seeking an experienced Aerospace Structural Integrity Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

This role involves performing structural analyses in static, fatigue and damage tolerance with conventional and computer-assisted calculation methods. You will support concept reviews and provide recommendations to guide the design group. Additionally, you will guide product design and verify structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance. Furthermore, you will develop test plans and configurations, support test execution and analyze/report test results to validate and verify systems and components to meet requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform structural analyses in static, fatigue and damage tolerance with conventional and computer-assisted calculation methods.
  • Support concept reviews and give recommendations to guide the design group.
  • Guide product design and verify structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
  • Develop test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components to meet requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a University mechanical or aerospace engineering degree with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience. Additionally, you should have experience in metallic primary and secondary structures and their behavior, as well as knowledge of CATIA V5, finite element modeling and analysis with NASTRAN/PATRAN. General computer skills are essential, and you must be able to read and write in English and have good communication skills.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per yearBenefits
