Job Title: Food Service Supervisor - Lead Kitchen Staff

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our kitchen staff at Sheshu's Sizzling Tandoor Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and supervise the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 5-10 staff members.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Permanent position with 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English is required.
