Mintz Global Screening is a renowned global screening company based in Scarborough, with a specialized team that vetting potential candidates for senior executive jobs worldwide.

We are seeking high-caliber, entry-level International Screening Researchers with foreign language fluencies to join our verification team, focusing on verifying education credentials, professional accreditations, and other services offered by the company.

As an International Screening Researcher, you will:

  • Conduct thorough background checks on executives globally.
  • Verify educational and professional qualifications through online databases, telephone calls, and email correspondence.
  • Leverage databases and vendors as international liaisons to verify degrees and professional qualifications worldwide.
  • Gather, review, and summarize news articles carefully.
  • Synthesize information into concise, professional, and accurate written reports, drafting and editing comprehensive client-ready reports.
  • Learn and master databases covering public records.
  • Meet client-driven deadlines and ensure compliance with company standards of privacy and security.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong research, writing, computer skills, attention to detail, and high levels of reading comprehension.
  • A Bachelor's degree from a University recognized in Canada.
  • Fluency in English, with foreign languages preferred (Chinese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Danish, Swedish, Portuguese, Arabic, or Spanish).
  • Research, investigative, or journalism experience is a plus.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a research-centric, investigative, or information gathering role.
  • Excellent computer skills with an emphasis on Internet and social media research.
  • Ability to provide high-level client service.
  • Capacity to communicate clearly and at a high level, both written and oral.
  • Above-average reading comprehension skills.
  • Must be responsible, punctual, accurate, and organized.
  • A positive attitude and desire to succeed and achieve high results.

In this role, you can expect a competitive salary range of $50,000-$65,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications, reflecting the company's commitment to attracting top talent.
