**Job Summary**

Ashton College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced instructor to teach a Red Seal Exam Prep – Hairstylist Course in a live online setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in hairstyling.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and deliver high-quality instructional content that meets learning objectives
  • Lead interactive lectures and discussions, fostering a collaborative learning environment
  • Administer assessments, grade student work, and maintain accurate records
  • Provide students with resources and support to ensure their success
  • Attend faculty meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices

**Qualifications:**

  • Fluent in English
  • Experience teaching online in a live webinar setting, with a focus on interactive lectures and discussions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A confident, engaging, and dynamic presenter
  • Red Seal Certification – Hairstylist (required)
  • At least 2 years of experience in the field of instruction
  • Knowledge of Zoom and online learning systems

**Working Conditions:**

This is a part-time contract position, with a variable schedule of 3-4 hours per week. The length of each contract position is determined by the length of the course being taught.
