About the Role

Smith + Andersen is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Intelligent Integrated Systems team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, to achieve project goals.
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the contract administration team to ensure timely completion of contract administration activities.
  • Prepare and review project reports, proposals, and other documentation as required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the electrical and communications industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply industry standards and codes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD/Revit, and other project management software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • P. Eng, RCDD, PSP, CTS, CTS-D, MCSE, CCIE certifications.
