Vancouver Coastal Health seeks an experienced Medical Operations Director to oversee the Medical Infusion Clinic team. This role is ideal for a seasoned healthcare professional with leadership experience and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

As a Medical Operations Director, you will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team in an acute and community-based setting. You will develop and implement operational plans, manage resources, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant clinical field, preferably a master's degree. They should possess 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience, including direct supervisory experience. Current registration or membership with a recognized professional association is also required.

You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to promote and enhance services provided by the Medical Infusion Clinic. You will foster a culture of inclusivity and diversity, recognizing the importance of cultural safety and anti-racism in healthcare delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key partners to support service delivery
  • Leading teams to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve excellence in client-centered care
  • Maintaining quality in resource utilization decisions and providing feedback on budget variances
  • Fostering collaborative working relationships to support staff development and growth

We offer a competitive salary range of $59.59 - $85.65 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including MSP, extended health and dental, and municipal pension plan.
