About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Academy Powerplay Daycare. As a key member of our childcare centre, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities that promote learning and exploration, such as storytelling, singing, and educational outings.
  • Engage children in creative play and learning experiences, including arts and crafts, and sensory activities.
  • Guide children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Monitor children's progress and report any concerns to parents or guardians.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including planning and implementing health and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work 40 hours per week.
