Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Unit Supervisor to join our team at McDonald's Restaurants. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of kitchen and food service helpers, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety in our restaurant.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time opportunity with 40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food; train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns; ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Operations Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation; maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including bonus opportunities, training and development programs, and a comprehensive employee assistance program.
