Job Summary
Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our business intelligence team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining effective reports in Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools. Your analytical mind and strong communication skills will enable you to provide meaningful insights that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reports in Power BI, Power BI Report Builder, and other platforms to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Conduct research and collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business problems and reporting requirements.
- Design and implement effective solutions to improve data collection and report generation processes.
- Create presentations showcasing reporting insights and strategic recommendations.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for efficient data processing and integration.
- Assist in the development of data warehouse objects in SQL/Microsoft Azure to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Monitor report performance, implement improvements as needed, and ensure data integrity.
- Perform other duties as required to meet organizational needs.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL, Power BI (DAX, Power Query, and Report Builder), and Excel.
- Experience with data warehousing, creating/data models, and managing databases.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to prepare reports including descriptive statistics.
- Effective communication of technical requirements and reporting insights.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools, with hands-on experience in building pipelines.
- Proficiency or practical experience with big data solutions for data processing and analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to offer innovative solutions.
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
