We are seeking a friendly and attentive Host/Hostess to join our team at Sushi World Restaurant Inc. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and will be responsible for ensuring a positive dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions about menu items and preparation methods, and provide excellent oral communication skills to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Front-of-House Operations: Perform opening and closing activities, receive customers' reservations and assign tables, and receive payments from customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
- Work Experience: Previous experience in the food service industry is an asset, but not required.
- Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, working in a physically demanding environment, and working under pressure are all part of this role.
- Gratuities: Earn gratuities as part of your compensation package.
- Learning and Training: Opportunities for learning and training are available to help you grow and develop in your role.
- Permanent Position: This is a permanent position with a flexible schedule, working 3 to 24 hours per week.
