About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer Advisor to join our team at RONA Inc. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of innovative learning solutions that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality learning content, including e-learning modules, training programs, and performance support tools.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain learning management systems, including Workday Learning, to ensure seamless delivery of learning content.
  • Conduct needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training programs to ensure effective learning transfer.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve learning design and delivery.
  • Provide coaching and consultation to L&D team members on the use of approved authoring tools and processes.
  • Ensure that all learning solutions meet technical requirements, follow established standards and processes, and are deployed into production environments.
Requirements
  • University studies in a field related to training, instructional design, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a training designer or instructional designer role, with a focus on large-scale training programs.
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems, such as Workday Learning, and large-scale content libraries.
  • Ability to learn new ideas and technology software at an advanced pace.
  • Strong skills in managing relationships, providing advisory services, and fostering collaborative work.
  • Ability to set priorities to manage multiple tasks at once and produce results in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
  • Motivation and results-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite software, Articulate360, and other relevant tools.
