Job Title: Event Sales Manager

At EightSix Network, we are seeking an experienced Event Sales Manager to join our team. As an Event Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling event rental services, including equipment, furniture, decor, and other event-related products. You will also be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to client inquiries, provide product information, and offer customized solutions based on client needs.
  • Support partners through the preparation of rental proposals, quotes, and contracts.
  • Maximize revenue and exceed sales targets by upselling and cross-selling.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects.
  • First point of contact for escalated issues, exceeding client needs by responding to concerns and questions.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma from post-secondary institution with a focus on hospitality and/or event planning, or prior event-related sales experience.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and generate meaningful insights/KPIs.
  • Expert proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for client meetings and events.
  • Proven ability to prioritize in a high-volume, high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong presentation skills and impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
