Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Public Disposal and Recycling Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Keep a record of items received and delivered
  • Follow directions and read maps
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids
  • Perform administrative tasks
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Local transportation/travel experience
  • Criminal record check
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding work
  • Steel-toed safety boots and gloves required
