Job Description

The Varsity Facility Lead will play a key role in the operational management and supervision of our Athletic & Rec Facilities during the varsity season and varsity events. This position will be required during evening and weekend hours, providing support in the NAIT Gymnasium and Arena to ensure the smooth functioning and safety of the facilities.

You will contribute to the success of varsity sports teams, coaches, student-athletes, and spectators by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and customer service.

  • Successful candidates will have the ability to assess and problem-solve in complex situations through effective listening, consultation, and critical thinking skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is a must to support facility operations and varsity events.
  • Understanding of facility management
Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $19.02-$24.74 per hour, plus 12% in lieu of statutory holidays and vacation pay. The classification is Administrative Support II. This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement.
