Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Fort St. John Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and nursing practice activities in the Emergency Department
  • Provide nursing care, assistance, and relief to all nursing areas, including ICU, Maternity, Med/Surg, and Ambulatory Care
  • Participate in the Regional Emergency Department Education Program (REDEP) to develop specialized skills and knowledge in emergency nursing
Requirements
  • Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
  • Three years' full-time recent acute care experience involving intensive care, obstetrics, and emergency, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively, deal with others effectively, and operate related equipment
