About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at BC LTD DBA Holiday Inn Express & Suites. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, make beds and change sheets, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, provide basic information on facilities, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of hotel rooms and public areas.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, repetitive tasks, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus and team player.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week. The language of work is English.
