About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Owner to join our growing DevOps team at Intact. As a key member of our team, you will play a leading role in developing our Platform As A Service to standardize, accelerate, and facilitate the work within the technical lifecycle of a product.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Development Effort
- Build the platform vision to an Agile delivery team, outlining and prioritizing work based on business value.
- Business Aspects
- Ensure the right products are developed and delivered to meet business needs.
- Product Lifecycle Management
- Lead, plan, track, and be accountable for all phases of the product lifecycle from beginning to end.
- Product Innovation
- Propose new product ideas, design, and develop concepts to drive business growth.
- Stakeholder Management
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to define the product vision and strategy, ensuring their interests are included in the release.
- Team Leadership
- Inspire the team to deliver best-in-class products and services.
- Product Evolution
- Be responsible for product evolution and technical debt management.
- Long-Term Roadmap
- Build and define a vision and long-term roadmap for the products in accordance with business and user needs and market trends.
- Selling the Vision
- Sell the vision to stakeholders and drive business growth.
Requirements
- Education
- College or bachelor's degree in information technology or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Experience
- 5-7 years of experience as a Product Owner.
- Skills
- Expertise with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with source code management.
- Experience with K8S as the runtime and container orchestrator.
- Experience with Vault as the secret manager, password storage, etc.
- Excellent understanding of Agile and DevOps.
- Knowledge with Helm technology: common deployment charts (asset).
- Bilingualism (French and English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
