Job Summary:
This role provides an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Corporate Litigation Counsel. You will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel on dispute resolution, litigation, and insurance claims to all levels of management. Your strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Responsibilities:
- Insurance Claims Management: Oversee the company's insurance claims process, ensuring timely and effective resolution of disputes.
- Litigation Support: Assist outside counsel in preparing for and conducting litigation, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
- Policy Interpretation: Interpret relevant laws and regulations, providing guidance to management on compliance and risk management.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal teams, including HR, Finance, and Operations, to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and best practices in corporate litigation and dispute resolution.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate: Earned Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Experience: Eight or more years of diverse dispute resolution experience in a corporate environment.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certifications/Licenses: Membership in the state bar as an attorney qualified to practice law in the state of Missouri.
