Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Optician to join our team at Carrefour Laval. As a key member of our luxury retail team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and sales experiences.

Main Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales and service excellence.
• Expertly guide customers in selecting frames and lenses that meet their needs and preferences.
• Ensure flawless accuracy in taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear, and executing all details.
• Stay current on product knowledge and fashion trends to drive sales and provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain presentation standards on the sales floor and back office.
• Support the Store Manager in ensuring all optical quality controls are in compliance.

Requirements

• State licensure or certification as an optician.
• 2+ years sales experience in the luxury service industry.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and practices.
• Natural ability to build a client following.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Resourceful and result-driven.
• Computer skills.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours.
