What is the Opportunity?

As a Regional Trust Specialist at Royal Bank of Canada, you will play a key role in promoting our trust and estate services to the Canadian Banking segment. You will partner with internal stakeholders to help them meet their clients' needs and provide expert advice on trust and estate matters. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a seasoned sales professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other Regional Trust Specialists to provide coverage and support to Personal Canadian Banking across your designated territory
  • Promote Royal Bank of Canada's trust and estate services to the Personal Canadian Banking segment
  • Partner with Financial Planners and Investment and Retirement Planning teams to build awareness of our trust and estate products and solutions
  • Execute consistent national activities to promote and raise awareness of our trust and estate services
  • Deepen customer loyalty by bringing the full power of Royal Bank of Canada to them
  • Ensure all company policies are adhered to in your interactions and employ due diligence in all activities
  • Partner successfully with internal and external clients and endeavor to meet and exceed key sales objectives

Requirements:

  • University degree and completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience in the financial services industry and general knowledge of estate and trust related administration
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience, including funnel management, tools, and tracking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel within designated region

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Financial Planner diploma granted by the IQPF
  • TEP designation
  • Previous experience in the Estate and Trust field
  • Experience within the legal field
