Medical Science Liaison for Immunology and Gastroenterology in Western Canada

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team at Lilly, focusing on Immunology and Gastroenterology in Western Canada. As a key member of our scientific community, you will serve as a trusted resource for Canadian experts in the field, providing in-depth scientific information and facilitating scientific exchange between the academic community and Lilly.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with scientific experts and thought leaders in Immunology and Gastroenterology.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date medical and scientific knowledge to customers, responding to requests in a timely manner.
- Enhance scientific knowledge by attending scientific meetings, conducting literature searches, and engaging in continuous learning within the therapeutic area.
- Support affiliate medical business objectives and cross-functional partners by interfacing with Lilly resources and internal business partners.
- Advanced degree in health sciences (PhD, MD, Pharm D) with 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience in Immunology - Gastroenterology.
- OR MSc in health care/professional designation (BScN, PT, RD etc.) considered if 5 or more years of relevant clinical experience in Immunology - Gastroenterology.
- OR previous MSL experience and sound knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.
- Intellectual curiosity and intelligence about the field of immunology/autoimmune disorders.
- Ability to critically appraise scientific information/literature.
- Strong presentation skills, including the ability to comprehend large amounts of scientific content and communicate it clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong/collaborative peer-to-peer relationships with external customers.
