  • Pack fruits and vegetables for transportation to market.
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
  • Tie and secure plants to prevent damage and promote healthy growth.
  • Harvest crops at the optimal time to ensure maximum quality and yield.
  • Examine products for quality and readiness for the market.
Work Environment:

Fruit Farm Labourers will work in a rural area, with various locations throughout the farm. The work environment will be outdoors, with exposure to the elements.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Walking.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Working Conditions:

Fruit Farm Labourers will work in a physically demanding environment, with repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads. The work will be a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

The primary language spoken in the workplace is English.

Hours:

Fruit Farm Labourers will work 30 to 55 hours per week.
