About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Dreams Truck Sales Inc. as a Truck Mechanic Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and repair or replace mechanical units or components as needed.
  • Quality Control: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and provide excellent customer service to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Complete reports to record problems and work performed, and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
