Job Title: Machine Tool Area Sales Manager-Machining

At Waterford Executive, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Tool Area Sales Manager-Machining to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and providing innovative solutions to customer work requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and foster strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Promote the sale of machine tool products and provide technical sales support to customers.
  • Collaborate with product managers to assess equipment needs and develop proposals for specific customer requirements.
  • Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers to enhance their operations.
  • Visit customer facilities to review outstanding engineering or service-related concerns and provide solutions.
  • Conduct strategic reviews of sales opportunities to identify new business prospects.
  • Attend trade shows and events to showcase our products and services.
  • Liaise with different departments to resolve customer-related issues and ensure seamless communication.
  • Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans to achieve yearly sales targets.
Requirements:
  • Recent experience in machine tool environments.
  • 5+ years of B2B relevant sales experience.
Work Environment:

This role requires frequent travel and spending time in manufacturing environments, including assembly, machining, and quality control facilities. You will also spend time at our Technical Centre. You may be exposed to hazards such as high noise, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery. International travel may be required for training or tradeshows.

Physical Demands:

This role requires frequent traveling, operating a vehicle, sitting at a desk, utilizing computers and phones, standing, and walking. You may also be required to perform periodic repetitive movements and occasional bending, squatting, stooping, and reaching.
