Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Area Sales Manager to join our team at Waterford Executive. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and providing innovative solutions to customer work requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Sales and Technical Support: Promote the sale of machine tool products and provide technical sales support to customers.
  • Proposal Development: Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements.
  • Equipment Recommendations: Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers based on their needs.
  • Customer Visits: Visit customer facilities to review outstanding engineering or service-related concerns and resolve difficult engineering issues.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop strategic and tactical plans to achieve yearly sales targets.
Requirements
  • Experience: Recent experience in machine tool environments and 5+ years of B2B relevant sales experience.
Work Environment

This role requires frequent travel and spending time in manufacturing environments, including assembly, machining, and quality control facilities. International travel may be required for training or tradeshows.

Physical Demands

The successful candidate will be required to travel extensively, operate a vehicle, and spend time standing, walking, and utilizing computers and phones.
