Job Title: Student Nutrition Team Lead

At the YMCA of Greater Toronto, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Student Nutrition Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Student Nutrition Program, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of healthy meals to children in the Region of Peel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with school programs, community members, and other organizations to ensure the success of the program.
  • Participate in fundraising activities to support the program.
  • Collaborate with community-based agencies to obtain resources and support for the program.
  • Communicate effectively with program locations and stakeholders to ensure smooth program delivery.
  • Provide leadership and support to program staff and volunteers to ensure safe and effective program operation.
  • Develop and implement program information packages and materials.
  • Work with coordinators to track program data and ensure compliance with Ministry guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of site visits and program activities.
  • Ensure program equipment is properly inventoried and maintained.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the local community and Ontario Student Nutrition Program.
  • Understanding of the public and separate school systems and field of education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with community, volunteers, and co-workers.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Commitment to the YMCA's values and mission.
