We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at A & W Restaurant. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Recruit and hire staff
- Manage kitchen operations
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
The Line Cook will work in a restaurant environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
