We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Jump Restaurant. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring that every dish that leaves the kitchen is of the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook food to order, following recipes and presentation specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Work effectively as part of a team, taking direction and feedback from senior kitchen staff.
- Assist with food inventory and control, ensuring that ingredients are stored and used efficiently.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve cooking skills and knowledge.
- 1-2 years of cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Culinary diploma or degree is an asset.
- Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Able to spend 100% of the time standing.
