Long Haul Truck Driver

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Impact Freight Services Inc. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various routes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive safely and efficiently: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Load and unload goods: Ensure the safe and secure loading and unloading of cargo.
- Obtain necessary permits: Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
- Perform vehicle inspections: Regularly inspect the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and equipment.
- Communicate with dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
- Record essential data: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
- Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
- Air Brakes Endorsement: Hold an Air Brakes Endorsement.
- Language: Proficient in English.
- Availability: Willing to work a varied schedule, including 40 to 70 hours per week.
