About the Role

Magna International Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our data analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading data projects, applying advanced data science, analytics, and computer vision to improve product development, manufacturing, predictive maintenance, and business processes.

You will develop strategies and applications of statistical analysis, Machine Learning, Computer vision, and AI tools to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency. Additionally, you will support the deployment and adoption of ML and AI initiatives, conceptualize Machine Learning problems, and execute simulations with minimal supervision.

We are looking for a candidate with a Master's Degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a closely related field, with 7+ years of experience in industry with a focus on data analytics and/or computer vision. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience will also be considered.

Preferred qualifications include experience with a wide variety of ML and AI techniques and algorithms, computer vision, optimization algorithms, and knowledge of C++. You should also have experience with agile project management and related tools, as well as cloud-based tools and analytic tools.
