Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Glass Installation Foreman/Woman to join our team. This is a demanding role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
  • Recruit and hire qualified workers and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects, ensuring budget compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Prepare production and other reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.

Requirements

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in glass installation, with a strong background in supervision and project management.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Own tools and equipment, including steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles.
  • Excellent oral communication, organizational, reliability, and teamwork skills.

Benefits and Remuneration

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience, plus additional benefits and incentives. The salary will be commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
