Job Description

This role is focused on ensuring the smooth execution of payment systems and methods, including SWIFT messages, ISO20022, MX, and MT formats. You will be responsible for understanding and navigating complex payment processes, such as Canada Lynx, US CHIPS, and FedWire, as well as non-wire payment methods like drafts and checks.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to demonstrate a solid understanding of regulatory reporting, including EFTR Fintrac, sanction screening, fraud detection, anti-money laundering (AML), compliance reporting, and asset management. Your ability to interpret and implement these regulations will be critical to the success of this role.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of deposit sub-ledger capabilities, including account management, transaction posting, multi-currency handling, interest calculations, liquidity management, controls, and reporting. Experience with various accounts, such as Nostro, Vostro, and Corporate Customer, is also essential, as well as integration of payments services with correspondent account processing.

A successful applicant will possess excellent project management skills, with experience in Agile delivery, testing practices, and/or product ownership. Certifications such as PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner, or Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) are highly valued. A background in a Tier 1 bank or financial institution is preferred, as is experience with payment data, canonical models, and payment data mapping.

What We Offer
