Fleet Maintenance Technician

As a Fleet Maintenance Technician at Vail Resorts, you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the mountains. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our guests, and we're looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our ranks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continually strive to exceed our Guest's expectations and to create experiences of a lifetime
- Ensure proper safety and cleanliness in the shops at all times
- Work professionally with the public and all departments at all times
- Service and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems on various equipment
- Use of computers and be able to adapt to changing technologies
- Removal, repair and assembly of components on trucks, UTVs and outdoor power equipment
- Detailing, including painting of equipment
- Fill out work orders, daily sheets as required
- Move equipment safely in and out of service building
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Automotive Red Seal or CQ / Red Seal or Applicable Tradesman
- Familiarity with truck mechanics, preferably GMC /CHEVROLET definitely an asset
- Familiarity with BRP or Yamaha UTVs as well as a variety of small engine powered equipment an asset
- Ability to work in a team oriented, safety focused environment
- Must be able to work at a high level without supervision in extreme weather conditions
- Clean Class 5 BC Drivers Licence and the ability to drive ATVs, Trucks and Snowmobiles for equipment recoveries and on-hill temporary repairs to assorted vehicles
- Strive to add to an integrated, professional, highly motivated team, a must
- Capable of lifting and fitting tires to Buses, Trucks and Heavy Equipment
- Must have own tools and storage
