Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Tipton's Your Independent Grocer. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
- Hire, train, and develop a team of sales associates to meet the needs of our customers.
- Authorize returns and exchanges, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and maintain a high level of customer service.
- Prepare sales reports, analyzing sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, combine sitting, standing, and walking.
Our retail store is located in an urban area, and we are a retail business. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, and managing a team of sales associates.
