Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Interior Systems Engineer to join our team at Segula Technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of console and door systems for our automotive clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop console and door systems that meet vehicle functional objectives
  • Own the end-to-end development process, from concept to production release
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure component design, development, and packaging meet quality and performance standards
  • Develop and execute Design Verification Plans and Reports (DVP&R) to validate system performance
  • Manage CAD models in Teamcenter and ensure data integrity
  • Drive weight reduction, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement initiatives
  • Communicate technical product status to management and stakeholders
  • Support vehicle assembly plants and service teams with product technical issues and root cause analysis
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET-accredited program
  • 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Experience with injection molding, painting, and decorating plastic components
  • Experience with OEM or supplier design and release
  • Proficiency in NX, Catia V5, and Teamcenter
  • Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R creation and execution
  • Experience with component builds and execution
  • Experience with production process feasibility and development
