Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor - Food Preparation

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.

About This Job

This is a full-time position that involves working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining inventory levels and controlling costs
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, including food preparation, serving, and cleaning
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and quality control standards
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
